So I did this ballpoint sketch in a meeting at work this morning and decided to splash some color on it, then after all that color splashing I desaturated it to check out the values and I was like hmm, that kinda looks cool too, and I couldn't decide between the two so I posted both... in case you were wondering.

oftentimes colors can be so bold that you miss the fine detailing put into the lineart, but the color piece really helps to add texture and highlight things i might have missed in the value scale alone.
